Maxine Cave is a psychologist registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (Registration No: PSY0002250079). Before commencing her own private practice, Maxine provided psychology services to clients in private practice, Whyalla Mental Health Unit in Whyalla Hospital, Australian Red Cross Tiraapendi Wodli Aboriginal Community Hub and to those with mental health issues, serving custodial sentences in South Australian Prisons and post-release prisoners and their families.

Maxine has undertaken 8 years of university study and holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (HONS) (First Class) and Master of Counselling. Maxine regularly engages in further study and training to ensure her knowledge and methods are current and evidence based. Maxine has certificates and experience in treating Personality Disorders, Suicide Intervention, Mindfulness and Complex Trauma.

Maxine is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and Institute of Private Practising Psychologists (IPPP) and a life member of Golden Key International as one of the 15% top academic performers world-wide.
